SYMBION, INC. ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER 2010 CONFERENCE CALL

Nashville, Tennessee (May 14, 2010) – Symbion, Inc., an owner and operator of short stay surgical facilities, announced today that it will provide an online Web simulcast of its first quarter 2010 earnings conference call on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. A copy of the Company's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2010, is available through the Investor tab of the Company's website at www.symbion.com.

The live broadcast of Symbion's conference call is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. An online replay will be available for 30 days beginning approximately an hour following the conclusion of the live broadcast.
